1997

Southern Hills Cabinetry Created

Don built his first kitchen cabinets in his father-in-law's barn.

1999

First Commercial Project

Southern Cabinetry took on its first commercial project: casework for a Rio Grande University dorm.

2000

Moved to Boat Storage Facility

Outgrowing the barn, Don moved production to a local boat storage facility to handle the growth.

2002

Southern Cabinetry Inc Created

To prepare for future growth, Don transitioned the business into Southern Cabinetry Inc.

2004

New Location Established

Outgrowing its early facilities, Southern Cabinetry Inc. moved to Bidwell, Ohio, where our headquarters remains today.

2008

New Building Expansion

Southern Cabinetry launched its first major facility expansion, streamlining operations for future growth.

2016

Machinery Upgrades

SCI shifted its focus to next-generation machinery, using automation to increase both production speed and quality control.

2020

First Fanuc Robot Installed

Innovation continued as Don's youngest son, Levi, brought 24-hour production to life by integrating two Fanuc robots into a feed-through CNC.

2023

Fanuc Robot Upgrades

Innovation reached new heights as Levi developed his first official patent for robotic machine tending.
