NEMA / AWI Certified Technical Specifications

The specifications below outline our standard production run, optimized for industry-leading speed and volume. However, as an architectural manufacturer, we can build to any custom spec or finish schedule required by your blueprints.

General Construction

Reveal Overlay Frameless. Carcass of cabinet shall be 3/4" thick Thermally fused Laminate with doweled and glued construction.

Exposed Surfaces

Plastic Laminate Grade VGS (balanced construction). Surfaces visible when doors and drawers are closed, including bottoms of cabinets more than 48 inches above floor and visible surfaces in open cabinets or behind glass doors.

Semi Exposed Surfaces

Thermally Fused Laminate. Surfaces behind opaque doors, such as cabinet interiors, shelves, and dividers; interiors and sides of drawers; and interior faces of doors. Tops of cabinets 78 inches or more above floor.

Concealed Surfaces

Include sleepers, web frames, dust panels, and other surfaces not usually visible after installation. Particleboard or TFL.

Hardware

Hinges shall be 2-3/4" institutional five knuckle with interlaying leaves capable of 270-degree swing. Pulls shall be 96mm (3.75") metal bent wire with a specified finish.

Drawers

Standard drawer slides shall have full extension and load rating static position to be no less than 100 lb. side mounted. Drawer bottoms are 3/8" Thermally Fused Laminate dado encapsulated into drawer front and back.

Countertops

Countertops with sinks shall be shop sanding exterior grade veneer core plywood or phenolic resin particleboard. Horizontal grade laminate conforming to NEMA standards for GP50 horizontal grade.

Guarantee

5-year guarantee from the date of substantial Completion against defects in material and workmanship in accordance with the terms of the contract.
